Wow, it has been a long time since I have posted anything. I have kept up reading friends' blog pages but I just haven't taken the time to update mine. Thanks Amanda for prompting me to add pics! Samantha, if you read this please add me to your list to view your blog. Thanks to you, I cut my hair this last week. I saw your picture and loved your cut. I now have a "bob" cut that I love. So here is briefly what has happened since my last post.
My baby brother, Camden, graduated high school. He will be attending Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, MO with a major in religious studies. He is staying busy this summer with Centrifuge (church camp), a trip from Texas to NY on a solar car built by students, a trip to Italy to play baseball and getting ready for college! We are going to miss him when he is at college but I'm sure we will see him plenty when he is home to get his "nephew fix".
Along with Cam's end of high school came Dawson's last day of preschool. He was sad to leave the Montessori school but is so excited for kindergarten. He did a kindergarten readiness class in summer school to prepare him for kindergarten so now he thinks he is ready for 1st grade!
My friend from college, Katie, got married this spring and Dawson and I went to the wedding. Dawson met some new friends, Evan and Ethan (Shanna's boys), and Joseph (Adrienne's son), and Seth (Amanda's husband!) who enjoyed collecting bugs in the "bug farm".
We went to the KC Zoo with my family in June. Dawson was laying down on the ground watching a nearby lion and another lion ran over and started batting at his head(on the other side of the glass, of course). He did that for several minutes and attracted quite a crowd. Dawson must have had alot of faith in the glass because he never got scared or moved away. You can see Dawson's reflection in the glass.

Gina,
I sent you an invite...let me know if it doesn't work.
Thanks for the compliment on my haircut. It took about 24 hours before my panic turned to excitement...it was a big change.
Looks like you've been busy. Don't envy the trip to the ER. I bet I'll have fewer trips with girls...let's hope.
