Cats, cats and more cats!

Dawson has been asking for a pet for a while now. We have told him no over and over. I finally told him he could pick one of the animals at Grandma and Grandpa's to be his and that he could take care of it when he was there and when we were gone they would take care of it. He bought it! Except, he decided he wanted all of the cats to be his. There is a population control issue with the cats at my Mom and Dad's house. They keep multiplying! We laugh every time we go to feed them and they come from all directions to be fed.
This is the cat box in the shed. They have entrance to this box from the outside. It has a wire top on it that is usually closed so that they do not get out like this! I am posting this on here more for Jackson's sake because he loves to look at the pictures of the cats on the computer.
Chaos!
Aren't they pretty though! Jackson knows each of their names. He loves "Wu-wu" the best, A.K.A. "Lulu"!

These first two pictures were taken at my Grandma's 90th birthday celebration. These kids are just a handful of her great-grandkids. She lives at the nursing home but had a good time coming home for the day. My Dad, Camden and Jackson on the farm
Jackson's Black eye- he had on some slick pants that were too long on a slick floor. This happened a week before family pictures.
Alison brings out the silliest in Jackson. They love making faces together.

Trick-or-Treat

Dawson had several options for Halloween costumes this year but said "I really just want to be a ghost"- easy enough. Jackson was going to be Rocket from the Little Einsteins - it is his favorite show so I thought he would love it. He would not put the costume on. He cried. Finally, at 5:00 on Halloween night I pulled out Dawson's old frog costume. Jackson loved it and was as happy as could be the rest of the night...well, not the entire night as you will see below but he did have a great time. He had down the "trick-or-treat" and "thank you". It was a fun night and great weather!

I'm not sure what this was about but I think he was one tired frog with too much sugar in his belly.
