Grandma Audrey and Grandpa Jeff came to visit for the weekend.

Claudia attended her first parade and slept through the entire thing!Claudia with my sisters, Mom, Grandma, and me at my uncle's funeral

This is my favorite picture. Dawson was so excited to read his sister a bedtime story. I love how she is so focused on Dawson. He is holding her hand to help her feel the textured pages!
This is how Claudia spends most of her day- sleeping with one of her brothers leaning over her!
Here is a comparison with my baby picture. This is my picture at 1 week

She's here!!

Claudia Jane Kouril was born at 12:56 p.m. on Saturday, September 13th. She weighed 7lbs. 1 oz. and is 19 inches. She is a very healthy little girl, despite lots of facial bruising. She did not wait for my doctor to get here for the delivery, so her grandpa got to do the honors! Her brothers are very excited and are doing great with her.

Fun in the mud!

The boys went outside today and made a "mudslide" at the neighbor's house. I have to admit, cleaning up mud was not what I had planned to do today, but they sure had fun!

Camping Trip

We went camping over labor day weekend with my parents, brother, Camden, and sister, Alison and her husband, Adam. Ashley and Lance were unable to go because they are on a cruise! We wish we were on a cruise but had a great time camping instead. The weather was great. Our family usually wakes up in the night to rain leaking through the tents! It seems to rain every time we camp! Only two weeks left until my due date! We are counting down and getting very excited!
Jackson was playing "baseball" with a twizzler. Baseball is his life right now!

Ashley gave the boys her old 35mm camera that she doesn't use anymore. It doesn't have film in it but still flashes. Jackson absolutely loves to "take pictures". He spent most of his time taking pictures!

Dawson has an obsession with ropes. He has always loved tying things up with any kind of string or rope. This time, he found entertainment in being the one tied up! Adam tied him up and then he would try and untie himself. Don't worry, he was supervised!

My mom, Alison, and I spent most of our time cooking meals or cleaning up meals. It takes alot of time and planning but it sure is good food!

The guys (and Alison, the photographer!) went on a trail hike and fishing. Here, Dawson is getting a close up look at nature. Just as long as it's not poison ivy!

Jackson's catch!

The best part of camping- the smores!!
