First Day of School

Dawson started 1st grade last Tuesday and Jackson started preschool yesterday. So far they are both doing good but neither one will ellaborate too much on details of their day. Jackson says, "I not telling you" in a frustrated tone everytime I ask what he did or who he played with. I think it's a boy thing!! I guess I just have to trust that they are learning and having fun!

Room changes!!

Here are pictures of Dawson and Jackson's new bunkbeds. They were custom made for them and they turned out wonderful! They can be separated into twin beds if we want someday. They also have stairs rather than a ladder. My favorite part is the drawers under the bed and under each stair. We still have empty drawers! They love them and Dawson has done great sleeping on the top bunk. It took an extra dose of bravery for him to decide to sleep up there the first night but he loves it now!

Here are pictures of our baby girl's room. I am making the bedding so it is not quite finished yet. The end bumper pad, ties, and quilt still have to be done. I have had difficulty finding time to sew. I guess she will come whether it is done or not! We have 5 1/2 weeks left and are getting excited!

The doll on the shelf in this bottom picture was picked out by big brother Dawson to give her when she is born. He was excited to get it and said he picked that one because "it's machine washable"!
